Breaking News!!!

Miranda Hejny, a sophomore at GBHS, rolled a 300 (PERFECT GAME) on
Saturday at the team's morning practice. Hejny is the first female on the team to
shoot a 300; following Trey Poncin who rolled the High School's first 300 in Liberal
in 2009. Hejny has also made history for the local bowling alley. She is the first
female in Great Bend to roll a perfect game at Walnut Bowl.

Erin Bowers, also a sophomore, broke the girls' high game record on Monday
against Dodge City and Holcomb at Walnut Bowl. The record, previously set
by Jacy Quade at 257 in Liberal in 2010, is now set 8 pins higher to 265.

Junior, Dakota Conaway set a new school record for boys high series at the
3rd Annual Great Plains Invitational.
He bowled games of 239,259,279
for a 777 series.
He was the overall champion for the boys!
He was competing against 150 other boys

Both the boys' and girls' teams were crowned with the WAC Champion title in Liberal on Thursday February 16th. There were 21 total points up for grabs on that day alone and the Great Bend Girls claimed 20 of those 21, extending their WAC record to
